My name is Maria and I’m Executive Assistant to the CEO, Mitar Pitzek. My tasks are very wide-ranging, but essentially I am responsible for office management and the coordination of various projects. From ordering marketing materials, to organising to annual gas boiler service, to communicating with clients over WhatsApp, I do it all!
INNES is a great mix of international people, which also describes me quite well. I’ve worked as an Au Pair in the USA, and I spent a year in Croatia teaching German at schools. Education is my passion, which is my job at INNES suits me well. I also enjoy working on many different tasks – big and small – and I find the organisation of education exciting and enriching. I’m a real people person (I enjoy all the challenges and rewards that interacting with people comes with) and I strive to constantly improve our workplace and institution while enjoying every workday to the fullest, of course.
If you’re looking for a café that isn’t filled with tourists all the time, then I can recommend ‘Café JETZT’ in the 17thdistrict. Also, you should definitely try stand-up paddle boarding on the Alte Donau river – it’s the best way to relax and unwind after work during the hot summer months.
Being a language teacher myself, I know what great moments can arise during class, both for the teacher and for the learner. I hope you have many such moments in your INNES classes.
